Hen Parties

Better Craft and Paint Studio has become popular for hen parties. Why not theme a hen party, dress up for the occasion and paint pottery to suit? You are able to choose from our extensive range of unpainted pottery or, alternatively, you can all paint the same item, e.g. a dinner plate, with pictures of each other or to represent a theme. For parties of ten or more you will have exclusive use of our function, for bookings there is a minimum total expenditure of £160 for Studio Fee and bisque pottery. Our fully-trained Better Craft and Paint staff will help to ensure that you get the most out of your time with us.

If you require some cheeky adult pottery please let us know and we can let you know what we have.

The cost is a £5.75 Studio Fee per painter and then the price of whatever items you choose to paint. We have a range of around 500 different pieces with prices from £14.50 to £80. You may paint as many items as you wish during your party.

We can provide snacks as well as hot & cold beverages. You can bring you're own booze with a corkage fee of 3.00 per bottle for nibbles we charge £4.50 per head

For groups of ten or more we can provide a buffet menu, just call Joannah and have a chat we cater for all.

"4 of us visited as a fun, creative and chilled out way to start off a hen do. We were immediately welcomed and informed of how the cafe worked and invited to look at all the pieces we could paint. There were so many options! Once we settled down with our choices, a staff member came over to explain how to paint the pieces. We then had a lovely relaxed afternoon of painting, chatting, eating cake and drinking lovely teas and coffees. The atmosphere in the cafe is very peaceful and it felt like we were welcome to stay as long as we wanted. We are all excited to pick up our pieces in the next few days and thinking about when we can go again to paint our next masterpieces!"

"My trip to Better Craft and Paint Studio was a surprise for my hen party and it was a wonderful afternoon made even better by the brilliant staff. 9 of us painted in the room downstairs which was decorated with banners and balloons. Bubbles and nibbles were provided as part of the package. I love painting pottery and it was such a great venue - relaxed and friendly. My piece came out brilliantly. All my friends have a keepsake from the weekend and I also received a beautifully painted plate with my friends' names signed around the edge and a cute hen painted by the studio in the centre - a wonderful additional touch. I would recommend the studio to anyone. Especially for any crafty hens!"

Better Craft and Paint Studio is excellent as part of a hen party weekend in Bournemouth and Christchurch. Combine your hen party with the clubs and restaurants of Bournemouth or Christchurch. One thing about pottery painting is that you are sure to remember your time with us as you will always have your painted pottery.
