The Autumn Kitchen – A New Painting Academy Course

The Painting Academy at The Clay Studio in Christchurch is pleased to announce a new six-week course for the autumn. The Autumn Kitchen is a range of six pottery items that enable you to learn a series of different pottery painting techniques. What’s more these pieces are practical and suitable for everyday use.

Painting Academy courses are suitable for beginners to pottery painting. Our fun workshops teach simple but highly effective painting techniques that enable anyone to create professional-looking pieces of pottery. No skill or experience is required, just a desire to have fun and achieve wonderful results.

The Autumn Kitchen course runs for six weeks on Wednesday mornings and Thursday evenings from 1 and 2 October respectively. Pieces are available for collection the following week.

Places on Painting Academy courses are limited and are available through advance booking only.

The Clay Studio is a contemporary pottery painting studio, offering visitors the opportunity to paint their own pottery and learn different painting and decorative effects through the Painting Academy and by having trained staff always on-hand. Alongside the painting is The Clay Studio Café which offers food and beverages, sourced, wherever possible, from local Dorset and Hampshire producers.
