Divas for Children in Need

How about being a diva for a night and helping others at the same time? Diva Night at The Clay Studio allows you to have fun with friends painting pottery while supporting the BBC’s Children in Need appeal. 

The regular Diva night at The Clay Studio is a great chance to relax with friends, paint pottery for fun or perhaps as Christmas presents and, importantly, give yourself some “me time”. The next event takes place on Thursday 13 November from 7-10pm when it will be time to put on your feather boa and tiara and get creative.

Tickets for Diva Night at The Clay Studio are available for £20 in advance only. The ticket price includes a £10 bisque pottery credit, Studio Fee, paints, glazing & firing, raffle entry and free chocolate fountain. Our staff will also be on hand to give you all the help and encouragement that you need. The Clay Studio will make a £5 donation to Children in Need for every ticket sold. The Clay Studio’s full food & beverages menu will also be available all evening. This includes cocktails, mulled wine and a selection of wines, beers and cider, many sourced from local producers.

The BBC’s annual Children in Need appeal supports disadvantaged children across the UK. In 2007, the event raised over £37 million. The Clay Studio also has a Children in Need fundraising evening on 14 November 2008.

The Clay Studio is a contemporary pottery painting studio, offering visitors the opportunity to paint their own pottery and learn different painting and decorative effects through the Painting Academy and by having trained staff always on-hand. Alongside the painting is The Clay Studio Café which offers snacks and beverages, sourced, wherever possible, from local Dorset and Hampshire producers.
