Ghosts, Ghouls & Pottery Painting Fun

With the dark nights upon us thoughts turn to witches, ghouls and ghostly happenings at the end of October. The Clay Studio in Christchurch becomes a place where the Halloween spirits are countered with lots of pottery painting fun.

Firstly, we will be running our popular Kidz Halloween Party on 31st October. This is painting in fancy dress with a prize for the best costume. £5 tickets include a Witch’s Blood cocktail, Ghoulish Grub Kidz bag, Studio Fee and apple bobbing. Just pay for your pottery on the night.

Adults are also welcome if they are not too afraid. £3adult tickets include a tea or coffee and Studio Fee should they wish to paint. Our full menu including beers, wines, ciders and cocktails is available all evening.

Admission to the Kidz Halloween Party is advance ticket only. These are available from The Clay Studio.

We have a range of special Halloween pottery such as electric lamps in the shape of full-size pumpkins, pumpkin tealight holders, wizard ornaments, witch bowls and witch hangers. Our Kidz Painting Academy will run during October half-term week with tuition to create a unique pumpkin bowl. This course is available with advance booking only with places limited.

The Clay Studio is a contemporary pottery painting studio, offering visitors the opportunity to paint their own pottery and learn different painting and decorative effects through the Painting Academy and by having trained staff always on-hand. Alongside the painting is The Clay Studio Café which offers food and beverages, sourced, wherever possible, from local Dorset and Hampshire producers.
