Children's Birthday Parties

Painting pottery is an excellent activity party for children. They have fun   painting, learn some new skills and have something they can keep to remind them of the party. At The Clay Studio we ensure that they have a great time and produce something of which they can be proud.

We have three different party options to suit your budget and number of guests. This also gives choice for the children and ease of organisation for   parents. We are a large studio and can accommodate both small and large parties.  The is no minimum number and we can seat up to 24 in our upstairs  Gallery Room and around 40 downstairs. The Clay Studio is the ideal choice for that special party for your child and their guests.

Options & Prices

Party Option 1 - Fabulous Five Party

Fabulous Five offers children a choice of five items with a mug, bowl and plate always included. The other items may vary from time to time.

Cost £12 per head.

Party duration 1.5 hours

 
Party Option 2 - Great Eight Party

The Great Eight has a choice of eight pottery items to paint. The range available always includes a plate, mug and bowl*. Other items will typically include trinket boxes and money boxes. We are also able to theme the items available to suit your requirements

Cost £15 per head.

Both parties include:-
  • Exclusive use of our party room for 1½/2 hours for parties of ten or more
  • Party invitations – downloadable from our Web site
  • Helium balloons on each guest’s chair
  • A choice from our party range of ceramics
  • Complete painting instruction and supervision (if required)
  • Unlimited use of paints, brushes and other resources
  • Personalised plate for the birthday child for parties of ten or more.
  • Glazed and fired birthday plaque in The Clay Studio Hall of Fame (for parties of ten or more)

Party Option 3 - Princess or Superhero Party

This is our top-of-the-range party. With everything included this is great value. It is the ultimate pottery painting party and includes:

  • Exclusive use of the Gallery Room for two hours with themed decorations.
  • Choice of superior pottery from fairy princess or superhero range.
  • Personalised signing plate for the birthday child.
  • Party tableware themed as fairy princess or superhero.
  • Deluxe buffet including Purbeck ice cream.
  • Party bag with appropriate items and free Studio Fee voucher for all children.
  • Fired pottery delivered to your home within one week (within 15 mile radius)

Cost: £25 per head including deluxe finger buffet (minimum ten children) and Purbeck ice cream.

Party duration: 2 hours

Party food

The Clay Studio provides food for children’s parties at £3 per head. This includes a selection of quality sandwiches, crisps, sausage rolls, biscuits and orange squash, Specific dietary requirements can be addressed if notified well in advance. You are free to bring a birthday cake of your choice.

A chocolate fountain can be provided at £2.50 per head (minimum £15).

If we are providing food for the party we recommend adding 30 minutes to the party duration. Please note that food is included in Option 3.
